Henry Lord Middle School in Fall River
County was awarded $3,000 to instruct students in the field of horticulture. This grant
will focus on science and environmental with a Garden Club for 6th, 7th and
8th grade students who will measure water quality and monitor plant growth. This
garden will be an educational experience for students and the community to
share.
St. Joseph School in Salem County
was awarded $4,500 to sponsor Family Science Night for 1st through 8th grade
students. Hands-on
activities will engage students and their parents in experiments and engineering
challenges. Students will work with their families to gain an appreciation
of math and science investigation.
