Dominion invites high school juniors and seniors from public or private schools in the Virginia, North Carolina or East Ohio service areas to submit essays about the achievements of outstanding African Americans featured in our series.
Since the contest began in 1996, there have been 90 essay winners and more than $160,000 worth of savings bonds, cash and computers awarded.
