Dominion Transmission Inc., North America’s largest operator of natural gas storage, is proud to announce the Storage Factory Project.

The Storage Factory Project integrates the high deliverability features of storage in salt formations, with the large capacity aspects of depleted reservoir storage.  The result is an efficient, reliable operation to support customers needs for competitive and flexible gas storage services – adjacent to dynamic East Coast markets.

Today, DTI operates about 1 Tcf of underground gas storage and has a proven record of reliable operations of natural gas storage in the Northeast. By enhancing our existing facilities and developing new storage capability in Tioga County, PA, DTI will provide up to 50 Bcf of new storage capacity to serve growing markets over the next 20 years.

The centerpiece of the Storage Factory is the Tioga Salt Storage Complex.
