Who's eligible?
Residential and business customers are eligible.
When is my payment processed?
You choose the number of days after billing you want us to process your payment.
It can be between 11 and 21 days after billing. Example: If you choose 12 days,
we'll process your payment on or after the twelfth calendar day following each
billing. Each bill will reflect the actual draft date.
How do I know if I'm in the program and, later, when payments
are made?
We will print a special message on your bill that provides the date (on or after)
that we will draft your automatic payment. You may stop paying by check when
you see this special message. There is no canceled check, but each month your
bank statement will show the amount and date the bill was paid.
If I move, will I automatically continue automatic bank
draft?
No. You will need to re-enroll.
Can I suspend bank drafting?
Yes. You can suspend your current pending draft online. If you choose this option,
please make payment of any outstanding balance by another method. Automatic
bank drafting will automatically resume with your next billing.
How can I discontinue bank drafting?
You can discontinue bank drafting online.
I want to suspend bank drafting, but I don't see this option
when I'm managing my account online. Why not?
You can only suspend a current pending draft. If the suspend button is not displayed
as an option, there is no current pending draft scheduled for your account.
I changed my banking information. When will my account be drafted using the new information?
If you have a pending draft amount and date, the old account information will be used. If you have no pending draft, the next draft will use the new banking information.
