Act 201, now 66 PA CSA, Chapter 14, changed rules that apply to cash deposits, reconnection of service, termination of service, payment arrangements and the filing of termination complaints by consumers for electric, gas and water.
Act 201 does not apply to customers under a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order -- a civil (non-criminal) order that can protect someone from being abused, threatened or stalked.
