Dominion Names Vice President and Controller

Richmond, Va. – Dominion Resources Inc. (NYSE: D) has named Steven A. Rogers vice president and controller.

Rogers joined Dominion in 1996 as manager – internal audit. He was named vice president and controller of OptaCor Financial Services Co., a financial services subsidiary, in 1997. In 1998 he was named corporate controller of Dominion Energy, the company's independent power production and natural gas transportation and storage subsidiary.

Prior to joining Dominion, Rogers held senior accounting positions with Deloitte & Touche LLP and Rehab Management Inc.

Thos. E. Capps, president and chief executive officer, said:

Rogers, 39, is a native of North Reading, Mass. He received his bachelor's degree in economics/accounting from The College of the Holy Cross in 1983.

Rogers assumed his new position effective June 1.

Lee D. Katz will assume Rogers' previous duties as controller of Dominion Energy. Katz, 37, joined Dominion Energy in 1997 and was previously director of corporate accounting.

Dominion, headquartered in Richmond, Va., is the nation's largest fully integrated natural gas and electric power company.
