Duane C. Radtke Named President and CEO of Dominion Exploration & Production

RICHMOND, Va. – Duane C. Radtke has been named chief executive officer and president of Dominion Exploration & Production, effective April 9. Radtke will also become an executive vice president of Dominion (NYSE: D), the parent company of Dominion E&P.

Radtke succeeds H. Patrick Riley, who is retiring.

Thos. E. Capps, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Dominion, said:

“Duane Radtke is one of the most impressive energy executives in the industry today. He brings to our company more than 30 years of senior management and technical experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He brings an attractive mix of domestic and international experience, and onshore and offshore experience. On top of this, he brings the right combination of personal characteristics – high energy, enthusiasm, and a bias for action.

“We will miss Pat Riley and wish him well. Under his leadership following this company’s merger last year with Consolidated Natural Gas, Dominion E&P integrated itself swiftly and efficiently, made substantial contributions to the bottom line and became quickly recognized in the industry. ”

Most recently, Radtke was president of the Houston-based international division of Devon Energy Corp. of Oklahoma City. During the past three decades, Radtke has also held key senior management positions at Santa Fe Snyder Corp. of Houston; Primary Fuels of Houston and Denver; Fluor Oil & Gas of Denver; and Coquina Oil & Gas of Midland, Texas.

He received his bachelor’s degree in mining engineering in 1971 from the University of Wisconsin.

Dominion is one of the nation’s leading energy producers. Dominion E&P has nearly 3 trillion cubic feet equivalent of natural gas reserves and annual production capability in excess of 300 billion cubic feet equivalent.
