Dominion Names Parker Offshore E&P Senior Vice President

  • Three Others Promoted to Vice President

HOUSTON – Dominion Exploration & Production, Inc., has named Timothy S. Parker, 48, as senior vice president and general manager, offshore. Parker, formerly president, international, at Santa Fe Snyder Corporation, replaces John R. Lewis, who retired in April.

“Tim has over 23 years of domestic and international oil and natural gas industry experience,” said Duane Radtke, chief executive officer and president of Dominion E&P. “He brings strong leadership to our accomplished offshore exploration and production operation.”

Parker was responsible for all exploration and production activities in eight countries and stewardship of more than 30 international blocks and projects at Santa Fe Snyder. At Dominion, he will be responsible for the company’s exploration and production operations in the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast areas. About 40 percent of Dominion’s 2.8 trillion cubic feet of reserves and annual production capability of 300 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent are in the Gulf area.

Parker has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in geology from Stanford University.

Dominion has also promoted three current employees to vice president, effective July 1.

James D. Abercrombie, 54, general manager, offshore production, was named vice president, offshore production. Abercrombie has been with the company since 1997 and previously spent 17 years with Mobil Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering for California Polytechnic State University.

Kevin P. Guilbeau, 43, general manager, offshore exploration, was named vice president offshore exploration. Guilbeau has been with the company since 1996 and previously spent 15 years with Shell Oil Company. He has a bachelor’s degree in earth sciences from the University of New Orleans and a master’s degree in geology from the University of New Mexico.

Dennis G. Millet, 48, will be vice president E&P marketing and financial management. Millet has been with the company since 1978. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans.

Parker, Abercrombie and Guilbeau will be based in New Orleans. Millet will be based in Houston.
