Dominion Resources Services Co. Promotes Christine M. Schwab To Vice President-Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures
RICHMOND, Va. – Dominion Resources Services Co. has promoted Christine
M. Schwab to vice president-Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures.
In her
new position, Schwab will lead the company’s efforts to identify,
structure, negotiate and integrate merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions.
She will report to Thomas N. Chewning, executive vice president and chief financial
officer.
Schwab had served as managing director-Financial Analysis & Planning
since 2005. In 2002, she was named director-Transactions. Schwab joined Dominion
in September 1995 as managing counsel-Generation & Portfolio Management.
Before joining Dominion, she was an attorney with the Richmond-based law firm
of McGuireWoods LLP.
A native of Reading, Pa., Schwab received a law degree
from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1993. She earned a Bachelor
of Arts degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990. She
also participated in the University of Chicago’s Management Institute
executive management program in 2005.
Schwab is a member of the board of trustees
of the Richmond Ballet and of the Richmond YWCA.
