Dominion E&P Names Marino Head of
Canadian Operations
HOUSTON - Anthony W. Marino, 42, has been named senior vice
president and general manager, Canadian operations, for Dominion Exploration
and Production, Inc., the natural gas and oil exploration and production subsidiary
of Dominion (NYSE: D). The announcement was made by Duane C. Radtke, president
and chief executive officer of Dominion E&P.
Marino, previously Dominion E&P's vice president-engineering,
replaces Wayne K. Foo, who is leaving Dominion to pursue other interests. Foo
has been the head of Dominion Canadian operations since April 1998 when the
company purchased Archer Resources, Ltd.
Marino will be responsible for Dominion's exploration and
production activities in Canada. Those operations are headquartered in Calgary
and include primarily natural gas facilities in Alberta and primarily oil facilities
in British Columbia.
Nearly 15 percent of Dominion's reserves are in Canada, where
the company produces about 160 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalent
per day.
Marino joined Dominion in January 2002. Previously, he was
with AEC Oil and Gas (USA) Inc., Santa Fe Snyder Corp. and Atlantic Richfield
in a variety of technical and management assignments.
Marino is a registered professional engineer and holds the
chartered financial analyst designation. He is a member of the board of directors
of the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States. Marino received
a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from University of Kansas
and a master of business administration degree from California State University.
