Consolidated Natural Gas Names E. J. Marks III Corporate Secretary

Mr. Marks, 35, joined the controller's department at Consolidated in 1992. He held various positions there before becoming manager of the corporate secretary's department in 1994. In early 1998, he became assistant secretary; manager, shareholder relations; and assistant to the chairman of the board.

Mr. Marks holds a bachelor's degree in business administration/finance from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Duquesne University.
