Consolidated Natural Gas Issues Statement
PITTSBURGH -- Consolidated Natural Gas Company (NYSE:
CNG) has received a proposal from Columbia Energy Group. The company is currently
reviewing it. Shareholders need not take any action. It should be noted that CNG
has a definitive merger agreement with Dominion Resources, Inc.
