Consolidated Natural Gas Sells $400 Million of 7.25% Notes
PITTSBURGH -- Consolidated Natural Gas Company today announced
the sale of $400 million of 7.25 percent noncallable notes due October 2004.
Chase Securities Inc. is the lead underwriter for the issue,
which is priced at 99.77 percent to the public. The proceeds will be used for
general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures and the reduction
of short-term debt.
Consolidated Natural Gas Company (NYSE: CNG) is one of the
