The EnviroSept is a highly efficient, non-ionizing, electronically enhanced media filter that uses dielectric polarization to effectively remove sub-micron particulate. This is achieved through the use of a steady-state electrostatic force field acting on a dielectric media--such as our specially- blended network of polywool fibers.

The EnviroSept Electronic Air Cleaner, with an input of 24 volts AC, generates a 7,000 volt positive DC charge from its proprietary solid state power head. This charge, applied to the central grid, polarizes the ½-inch-thick polywool blended collector pads on either side of the grid. These pads are held in place by the two outer screens, which are grounded. Therefore, the EnviroSept Electronic Air Cleaner is really two filters in one.
