Storm Update - 9/2/10

Dominion continues to closely monitor Hurricane Earl, and has a comprehensive storm response plan ready for execution. The company has predeployed line workers, support personnel and contractors, and materials have been readied and replenished.

The effects of Earl are expected to increase along the North Carolina and Virginia coast this afternoon into Friday morning. Storm updates are available from the National Hurricane Center.

We suggest that customers in areas that may be affected by the storm complete any final preparations. Be sure to review our news release on developing home emergency plans and kits, or review our storm preparation tips.
