Dominion Energizing Communities

21 Organizations, 1 Day: Dominion Volunteers Helping Veterans

In honor of the Memorial Day holiday, Dominion volunteers and The Dominion Foundation set aside Wednesday, May 22, 2013, to provide volunteers and monetary support to organizations that serve active military, veterans and their spouses and/or children.

Specifically, The Dominion Foundation provided up to twenty $1,000 grants to nonprofit organizations, and Dominion volunteers participated in activities as agreed upon by the recipient organization and volunteer leader. The projects took no more than one day to complete.
